Moon Mtn is a food forest homestead located in the wilderness of Upper Michigan. The homestead conserves 40 acres of mixed forests rich in oak, maple, and coniferous stands with towering granite rock outcroppings. The budding food forest is a multi-storied fruit and nut orchard bountiful with herbs, flowers, vegetables, and medicinal plants. We offer experiential homesteading and wildcrafting opportunities such as group tours, apprenticeships, and workshops.
Our Food
We know how important clean, nutrient-dense foods are to you. We ethically forage northern wild foods and produce culinary delights in our regenerative mountain top garden systems. Our food is the greatest gift of abundance we can offer and we are honored to share it with our community.
